What this is

caseyapproved is a personal inventory of items I own, use regularly, and would buy a second time without hesitation. It is not a sponsored-review blog and not a comparison site. It’s a record kept honestly, for myself first, then for anyone curious about the things I’ve quietly settled on.

Categories run across the corners of a life: everyday carry, photography, books, outdoor gear, the kitchen, what I wear. The grid is the whole thing. Notes on the back of each card explain why an item earned its place.

How I curate

Items get added when they’ve proven themselves over months or years, not because they’re new, not because they’re hyped. If something stops earning its keep, it comes off the list. The aim is fewer, better, longer-lived.

About me

I’m Casey McCallister. I live in Ireland with my wife and son. I take photos, make things on the internet, and spend a fair amount of time outside. I’m particular about the objects I keep around, and this site is the public version of that.
